Claude Rains - The Invisible Man (1933)
English actor Claude Rains (November 10th, 1889 - May 30th, 1967) made his American film debut in “The Invisible Man” (1933), swathed in bandages, his face virtually unseen until the final few seconds of the film. James Whale, the film’s director, insisted on Rains playing the part because of his “intellectual voice”.
Happy Birthday, sir!
