Humphrey Lee Haunted’s 7th birthday today - Fancy Feast and a new scratcher wheeeeee! He was born at Forest Lawn Cemetery, so he’s very gothic. ;)
I think I mentioned in December that my holiday project was going to be making blankets for animals in shelters - it was a lot of fun, and they were all made in time for Christmas. This is Eleanor, with one of the ones I made, and she now has a great home in Ankeny, Iowa where she showed up homeless in the parking lot of an office there right before the holidays. She is now the officlal office kitty, and is beloved by all the workers there - she even sits in on board meetings and atttends office parties. It makes me sooooo happy to see her enjoying her new blankie! She’s soooooo pretty!
My kitty Humphrey Lee Haunted gets festive for the holidays
I have a **big** holiday project I’m working on - making blankets for animals in a local shelter, and when that’s finished I’ll be back posting more - they’re turning out super pretty, it’s a lot of fun and I hope to finish it before Christmas………M’wah!
Okay, so I just have to say this - one of my jobs one night was to gaurd Carlos in the DJ booth at the club where I worked hahahaha (no I am not a bouncer or even a large person but I digress) - from rabid fangirls. I had to hold the door closed, and keep them out most of the evening. One of the funniest nights of my life - he was always very nice, and carried in all his own vinyl - some other celeb DJs never did that. One of the worst girls tried to push the door open, and was weeping about her great “love” for him - hahahaha - didn’t work.
I wish I knew the answer to why this could even happen, but the other night my neighbor who lives across the alley from me, was out on his back porch/landing, with his shirt off at 4 AM, rubbing himself down with some kind of oil. It was 60 degrees out - I was going to go down the back stairs to take my trash out, but you know what? I totally didn’t. Seriously, what was that?! I don’t care that he looks like Michael J. Fox, it was totally creepy…….
P.S. He also has a hidden video scanner set up in our parking garage so he can watch it day and night - yep.
Combining two things I love very, very much - cartoon monsters and an old friend (with one of his newest songs).
Some old friends in a front yard where I’ve spent many, many the fine, fine, fine afternoon and evening, dancing for hours, down through the years. <3
A kitty bed arrives in the mail, and Humphrey Lee Haunted shows Roger Bleu that good things come to those who wait. (My kitties!)
Happy happy happy Fifth year anniversary today of adopting Humphrey Lee Haunted - yay! That’s the same basket in the top two photos. =)
