Thank you so much, Kim - I missed this lovely card you posted for me last year, because I never spend any time online on my birthday (and won’t be on here today), but I *super* appreciate it - it’s so pretty! m’wah!

Sorry everyone, but probably not going to be posting any more today - someone in Washington state (I live in California) got my ATM card info, which I have never shared with **anyone**, nor do I ever use it for online shopping or anything other than grocery shopping and gas purchases, and withdrew 400 dollars from a Starbucks. I’ve never been to a Starbucks in my life, and actually hate coffee, but the main point is, since when can you use Starbucks as a means to withdraw funds?! It was in 4 seperate transactions of 100 dollars each. The bank caught it, called me and will be reimbursing me, but I’m paranoid now to use anything other than cash for purchases. I have no idea htf this happened, and the card is now closed out and the bank is investigating, but seriously, no freaking idea how this could have happened. There are these creepy things now called “skimmers” that thieves attach to various ATM devices, like at gas stations and the like, and once they’ve collected a lot of people’s info, they go back, remove the skimmer and have eveyone’s info who got gas at that pump. There are also devices that people can use to literally x-ray your purse or wallet when they walk past you, and get your card info that way. So, I’m going to get a metal x-ray proof case for my cards, and honestly, might go back to using cash like it’s the 80ts - very, very scary and so creepy. If I can find out how this happened, and a way we can better protect ourselves, I will definitely share!
Today I spent part of the day with these two sweethearts, and other lovely animals. I’ve been knitting blankets, making fleece beds and toys for my local no-kill shelter for a few months, and I loooooove it. Anyway, these are my two favorites, McCoy the cat and Bianca the bunny, and I love visiting them. Bianca always hops over to me to get cheek scritches, and McCoy gives kitty kisses. And, look at his cool eyeliner markings! I get to see the things I’ve made making animals happier and I want to devote even more time to this project. Sooo, I will be still be around, but if I am off of here, you’ll know it’s for a good reason. The two nerdy boy volunteers who were there today spent the entire time on their iphones, playing video games and being robot-like instead of actually talking to me, or interacting in any sort of social way, not that I was there for that, but seriously, we’ve turned into a nation of walking zombies - so saddening. But, hanging out with the animals is thee best - and, no iphones with them so big ups to the animal kingdom, as usual!.
Convo re the merits of carrot juice, at the local market with Don Bolles, 9:45 PM - Wednesday evening. The usual enormous faux fur hat was in attendance (his, not mine), Important stuff.
It’s on Blogger though and not here - it’s here
Thank yoooouuuuu. They feel sort of unloved over there so far so I told them I’d post about it…..
A kitty bed arrives in the mail, and Humphrey Lee Haunted shows Roger Bleu that good things come to those who wait. (My kitties!)
A site I’ve been on for seven years was sold to another (lame) company and is having the plug puiled on it fairly soon, and I’ve been saving pages, photos, gifs, tons and tons of stuff and it’s taking up a lot of my time - hopefully I will be back soon! My cats are probably getting their own blog on here soon, because their internet home is going bye bye. Suxxxxxx! =^..^= It’s kind of a big deal and I’m surprised the media hasn’t done a big story on it - I mean, if you can’t succeed with cats and social media, you really shouldn’t even be in business…….

My Roger Bleu on one of my kitty beds - I’m working on a big project right now for the holidays, making lots of beds and toys for a really nice no kill shelter near my house - they have lots of cats, dogs and bunnies who need homes and I do this every year - I’m knitting a lot of blankets too, so apologies for the lapse in posting, but I’m buried under a lot of yarn and fleece right now, but in a good way……
Here is a link to the shelter and you can see some of the animals I’m making warm things for http://www.santedor.org/
