Happy Birthday to my cat, Humphrey Lee Haunted who was born at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale, CA where more movie stars are buried than anywhere else in the world. He loves his red skull bed, and is a lovely boy. =) Oh, and he was named for Humphrey Bogart, who is buried at Forest Lawn, and his last name is inspired by Edgar Gorey.

I was born in Hollywood, grew up in the Hollywood Hills and am in love with all things to do with Classic Cinema of bygone eras, particularly the Silents, and the magic of Vintage Animation by such artists as Max Fleischer, U.B. Iwerks and Walt Disney.

I'd love to live in a huge fairy tale Victorian house filled with beautiful vintage furniture, books, dolls, silver buckled pumps, and velvet dresses, but for now I live in a lovely attic apartment that contains all of those and hundreds of old movie books and stills, in a neighborhood where many great silent films were created.
