This painting was a gift from Walt Disney to a friend who worked at A. C. Friedrichs art supply company to celebrate the birth of the friend’s daughter in the mid-1930s. The art was probably done by Hank Porter’s group. The image was inspired by the 1933 theatrical short “Ye Olden Days.”  via ha.com
